Psychology and psychoanalysis
These materials fall into the field of clinical psychology and cover psychopathologies affecting people at different stages of life. Most of them consist of interviews with specialists in the field. In particular, the collection includes materials produced by the Lorquin hospital’s National Center for Audiovisual Documentation on Mental Health (Centre national de documentation audiovisuelle-santé mentale).
Also available for consultation in the Research library are interviews with and portraits of leading French psychoanalysts: Jacques Lacan, Françoise Dolto, and Daniel Friedmann’s series with psychoanalysts, produced by the National Center for Scientific Research (Centre nationale de la recherche scientifique/CNRS) (consisting of around 20 titles): François Roustang, André Green, Elisabeth Roudinesco, J-B Pontalis, etc.
The collection is rounded out by television materials aimed more at the general public. These mainly cover the psychological functioning of children and parent-child relations.
