Over 500 original drawings by Georges Wolinski will be presented at the Bibliothèque nationale de France as part of the summer season (Les Estivales). Items on display have been selected among the numerous drawings recently donated to the library by the artist. Wolinski's work includes about a hundred illustrated books and his comic strips have appeared in over forty newspapers. The cartoonist also contributed to advertisements, posters, plays, movies and television sketches.Nothing escaped this amused and unprejudiced observer, deeply influenced by surrealism.
