CCFr and collection referencing
CCFr is both a location tool and a cooperation tool, managed by BnF and populated by BnF and its partners.
As a cooperation tool, it is used by libraries and other documentation institutions to reference collections and network catalogs. It acts as a directory of organizations, a location tool, and a document access intermediary. It is used to pool library holdings.Interlibrary loans (ILLs) and remote document delivery (RDD)
Through interlibrary loans (ILLs) and remote document delivery (RDD), the CCFr document delivery service enables users, after locating a document, to request the loan, reproduction, or reservation of that document in any type of partner library.It facilitates cooperation between all types of libraries at regional and national level and draws on a network of almost 196 volunteer libraries of every administrative structure, linking with the SUDOC network’s ILL (inter-library lending) facility.
CCFr provides free access to an online tool for libraries and users. This tool simplifies management of the following tasks:
