National Library of France
Mr. Bruno Racine, BnF President, and Mr. Driss Khrouz, his counterpart at the National Library of Morocco (BNRM) signed a new cooperation agreement on May the 17th, 2011. Some common actions have been re-asserted and others renewed in the framework of a three-year agreement between the two libraries. Partnership will be based on the three following issues: development of services, digital cooperation, professional, cultural and scientific exchanges. On the other hand, partnership will be re-affirmed to preserve, enhance and make available heritage collections shared by both institutions thanks to joint digitisation programmes. Documentary databases created this way will enrich the “Réseau francophone numérique” portal mainly founded by the BNRM and the BnF.
On January the 11th, 2011, Dr. Majid Noaimi, Minister of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain and Mr. Bruno Racine, President of the Bibliothèque nationale de France signed an agreement for the achievement of Bahrain digital library.
All records of Bahrain should soon be available via the digital library.

A database providing access to documents about the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Middle East will also be available via the digital library. Advice and assistance services connected to digital archiving will be provided by the BnF in the framework of this cooperation project with the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
