The BnF participates in the construction of bibliographic tools produced with European and international partners.

CERL Consortium

The BnF collaborates on enhancing the database on early printed books, a union catalogue produced by CERL, the Consortium of European Research Libraries which now contains about one million records and offers researchers a coherent set of references to European works printed before 1830, whatever their language or place of preservation.

EROMM Consortium

The BnF makes its contribution to the European Register of Microform Masters which contains the records of books and serials that have been reproduced in microform or digitised.

The BnF takes part in VIAF, the Virtual International Authority File, an online single access to authority files of personal and corporate names as well as places. This file is the result of the sharing of the authority files of several national libraries carried out with the support of the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC).
