The BnF at the 2026 World Library and Information Congress

The 90th IFLA Congress (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions) takes place from 10 to 13 August in Busan, Republic of Korea, around the theme “Libraries powering transformation ”.

This annual congress is the key meeting for all librarians bringing together thousands of participants from all over the world. It is preceded by one or two days of satellite meetings. In addition to learning about the latest trends and IFLA’s strategy, it is also an opportunity to meet new colleagues and learn about the latest professional advancements.

As in previous years, a delegation of the BnF staff elected in various sections will be taking part in the meetings.
