Succes of the public subscription for the acquisition of the marcel Proust Fund
More than 3,300 people responded to the call for donations to help acquire a collection of manuscripts by Marcel Proust. Thanks to their generosity, €545,000 was raised. A huge thank you to everyone for this record-breaking response!
This remarkable outpouring of support will enable the BnF to preserve this collection of over 900 documents, which will be added to the Manuscripts Department. This major cultural treasure will be made accessible to both researchers and literature enthusiasts.
