Succes of the public subscription for the acquisition of the Bréviaire de Charles V
The BnF acquired the Bréviaire à l’usage de la Sainte-Chapelle, an exceptional illuminated manuscript produced in 1370 for King Charles V, thanks to the support of major patrons and a call for donations from individuals which has been a great success. This royal manuscript, classified as a National Treasure, thus returns to its original collection, that of the King of France Charles V, the historic heart of the collections of the National Library of France.
